Privacy and cookie notice

This notice explains how we process the personal data of people who visit www.mptreatment.com and contact us through the forms on the website, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

2. What data we process

a) Browsing data

The systems that run the website automatically collect some data implicit in the use of the internet: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system. These data are recorded in the log files of the hosting provider's server and are used only to ensure the website works correctly and securely.

b) Data you provide

When you fill in a form on the website (information request, product request, catalogue download, free training request) you send us the data you enter: name and surname, company, email, phone, country, occupation, message and, for training, how you wish to take part, preferred platform, date, time, time zone and number of participants.

Please do not include special categories of data (for example health data) in your messages.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Replying to your requests, sending you the catalogue, technical data sheets or the information requested and organising training: legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Complying with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting obligations, if your request leads to a business relationship: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse (for example repeated automated form submissions): the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data to send newsletters or promotional messages, and we do not use it for profiling.

4. Whether providing data is mandatory

Providing your data is optional. However, the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are needed so that we can reply: without them we cannot handle your request.

5. How we process data

Data are processed electronically by authorised staff, with appropriate technical and organisational security measures. The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) only. Form submissions reach our company mailbox faq@mptreatment.com by email and are not stored in a website database. To prevent abuse, the website keeps for 10 minutes a non-reversible code derived from the IP address of whoever submits a form.

6. Who receives the data

Data may be processed on the controller's behalf by Aruba S.p.A., which provides website hosting and email services, appointed as data processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The controller's advisers (for example IT consultants or accountants), bound by confidentiality, and public authorities where required by law may also access the data. Data are never disclosed to the public or sold.

7. Transfers outside the European Union

Data are processed on servers located in the European Union and are not transferred to third countries.

8. How long we keep data

Form requests: for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless the request leads to a business relationship.
If a business relationship follows: for the period required by civil and tax law (normally 10 years).
Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for technical logs, unless needed to investigate computer crime.

This website does not use cookies: no technical, analytics or profiling cookies, whether our own or third-party. We use no statistics tools. Fonts and all website resources are hosted on our own web space, with no connections to third-party servers.

The website contains simple links to our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube profiles. If you click these links you leave our website, and the privacy and cookie policies of those services apply.

For this reason the website shows no cookie banner, in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021. If we introduce cookies or statistics tools in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.

10. Your rights

You may at any time ask the controller for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to info@mptreatment.com.

If you believe the processing breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country.

11. Changes

This notice may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
