Porcelain tiles need care too
Contrary to what you might think, ceramic and porcelain stoneware can also be attacked by dirt, stains and corrosion. Of course, it takes far more aggressive products to etch them than marble, which can be etched even by ordinary foods. Even so, it is wise to use specific products: to clean them properly without damage, to protect them so they do not deteriorate easily, and to keep them beautiful for as long as possible.
On matt-finish ceramic floors the main problem is the dirt they hold. Sometimes the cause is poor post-construction cleaning that did not properly remove residues and films of grout or sealant; other times it is simply foot traffic. Ceramic has a micro-porosity that, unless sealed with suitable products, traps dirt and becomes very hard to clean.
In this line you will find the right products for cleaning after construction, for routine cleaning and for seasonal maintenance.
